MEETING MINUTES
The meeting was opened with The Pledge of Allegiance and prayer led by Pastor Bruce
The board was introduced: Casey S., Rod J., Nicole E., and Jim C. attended
The prior meeting minutes were read by Nicole E. and approved by the general membership
PRESIDENT REPORT
Casey S. extended his gratitude to everyone that has been involved in creating BRCST
The Memorial Day event a success with 20 new members signed up
The BOW account has received donations, thanks to all who donated
The majority of fliers have been distributed; Ken T. is researching other lower cost options
The first vehicle recovery incident was successfully performed by Cal H. and JR M.

TREASURER REPORT
The current balance is $1,294.74

TRAINING REPORT
Basic First Aid/CPR/AED/Stop Bleed course is scheduled for 7/22/23 @ BRFD 8am-3pm contact Jim C. by phone or email to sign up at no cost
CERT training is available September 27,28, and 29th in Flagstaff; contact Jim C. for more info
Jim C. reported we need 15 people to sign up for CERT to come to us and that will not be available until next year sometime
OLD BUSINESS
Pam H. reported the HOA meeting was a success and she also visited the local Forrest Service which was also very receptive to working with us
NEW BUSINESS
Donna H. and Judy S. did a fantastic presentation on how we can assist in their Parish Nursing service and approved us to add their contact information to our directory and requested help to re-organize their storage room.
Rod J. presented our remarkable new website, the incident intake process, incident flow charts, communication logs and incident summary report guidelines that BRCST will be utilizing.
The Call Tree needs to be set up by Team Leaders asap
Cal H. provided laminated tailgate maps for Team leaders/Captains and suggested downloading Avenza maps for navigation, carrying a notebook and never going out alone
Dick K. is working on confirming GPS training with Billy C. and reported our meeting location for incidents will be at southside of the BRFD. He also recommended purchasing safety vests
Dick K. and Jim C. reported the BRFD Chief Paine does not want us to assist on traffic control
Cal H. and Dick K. suggested setting up mock search as a form of training
Nicole E. will add Happy Jack, Arizona to the FB page
Tabled printing business cards and 4th of July/ Labor Day events
The next Board meeting is June 27th @ 6pm Samsill residence
The next General meeting is July 11th @ 6pm Starlight Pines Community Center
